The Emerging Innovator Internship Program
The Emerging Innovators internship program at Birdhouse Learning Labs provides undergraduate students, graduate students, and early career professionals an opportunity to support a specific lab or broader areas of need for BLL.
There are currently no openings for internships. However, if you would like to complete an application for consideration when/if an opening occurs, you may do so here.
Birdhouse Learning Lab Fellowship Program
BLL Fellows are researchers, designers, artists, and practitioners whose expertise makes them prime candidates for a temporary or long-term contribution to one of the labs. Unless otherwise stated, fellowships are part-time endeavors with clear goals. Remote work is often possible for fellowships.
We also accept inquiries for fellows who would like to propose and lead a new lab. While BLL considers internal funding for such projects, we are particularly interested in proposals that include a clear plan for funding or quickly achieving a model for the lab to be financially self-sustaining. While not limited to these options, this might be through a grant, an interested investor in the lab/project, a school or University partner, a clear plan to quickly produce a minimally viable product with evidence of market demand, or through an organizational partner that is committed to partial or full funding in return for use of / access to the results of the lab.
There are currently no openings for fellowships in current labs. However, if you would like to complete an application for a fellowship to launch or lead a new lab, you may do so here. You can also use the contact page to discuss your idea prior to submitting an application.
